Quickly helped Jeston to dress in his School tee and applied sun tan lotion for him.  Almost forgotten to bring his water bottle and Phew, we reached school exactly @ 8.45am, the timing we were instructed to assemble.  But not many of Jeston's classmates were there yet.  Saw Ber's hubby & daughter.  Met another student(N2) 's mummy and was chatting with her.  She wanted to enrol her 3rd princess in the morning session next year but it was full.  Her eldest daughter was already in Primary 3.

Then i met Yvonne and her daughter, Shannon.  Hasn't had time to visit her since her son was born few months back.  Took the opportunity to catch up with her.  She will be returning to office after Deepavali which is after her maternity leave.  She advised me to engage confinement lady for 40 days in future if I were to conceive a 2nd child.  Neway, she was giving up breastfeeding as she's returning to work.

We were then told to gather.  Jeston and I were in team A which was the blue group led by Ms Maisy.  Yvonne and her daughter was in purple group led by He Lao Shi.  We proceeded to the coach together where different groups alighted the coach using 2 doors orderly.  Along the way, Jeston was hungry hence he consumed the bread with butter which i prepared for him.  He still appeared in a daze.

We passed by KPE and finally reached Convention hall.  There was a change of plan and instead of taking the Duck tour, we took the Hippo bus first.  Prior to that, we had toilet break.  As the washroom was very packed, Yvonne and I strolled our way to the toilet @ the basement.  The hippo bus was guided by a guy who introduced about Singapore along the way together with questions and stickers as prizes.  We headed all the way to Chinatown and passed by places like Little India, Jalan Besar, etc.  It was very windy as we sat on the top deck of the bus with the shelter @ the back.  Jeston was enjoying the view and din really raise any question along the way, only asking @ times why the bus stopped when the traffic lights turned red.  The guide was telling us that the supreme court is open to public and if we have the time, we can visit the 6th floor where the UFO alike structure is.  He mentioned the view was not bad.

After our trip back from the hippo bus, we had toilet break again. and the students were given bread by the teachers.  Then the kids were supposed to put on the orange life jackets which were of the same size for every child.  I helped Jeston put on his and we waited patiently to board the duck.  We boarded Katrina Duck and travelled along the road and down the Singapore River.  It was guided by another younger guy.  Jeston was more keen on the duck tour as he had taken the hippo bus with my MIL previously.  Everyone of us were given a duck alike whistle and the kids were enjoying whistling away.  The guide helped everyone of us to take fotos as we toured around Singapore river.

We saw the Merlion, The Fullerton Hotel, The Esplanade aka The "Durian" where each cone for the window costs $1,200.  It was supposed to be shaped like a microphone.  We also passed by MBS and the Singapore Flyer and the new museum which looked like a lotus.  Think it's the art and music museum.  Haha......me student with fading memory.   Jeston volunteered to sing and raised his hand.  When the guide asked him what song he wanna sing, he replied "Rocket".  The guide was baffled and i told him it was "Little Einsteins".  However, Jeston stood there dumbfounded.  The guide then asked the rest of the students to sing along with him so we just sang an extract of the song.

After the duck tour, we took the coach and returned back to the school.  Along the way, Ms Wendy summarised the outing and Jeston got another bread as he was hungry.  We then headed to my MIL's place for his lunch.  Prior to that, daddy ferried us to the kopitiam to tabao my lunch.  Had kway chap for lunch.  I din have anything the entire morning.  Grabbed a curry puff and bot soya bean drink for Jeston while waiting for daddy @ Hougang Mall.
